This acrylic painting on canvas was produced as a commissioned portrait to celebrate the life of a very handsome cat named T.C.

I used System 3 acrylics to build up the layers and textures, applying the paint with flat brushes in sizes 1/2″ and 1″ to create bold, strong marks.

A range of complimentary blues were blended for the background to enhance the subject matter and a matt varnish was applied.
