This personal portrait of a Siberian Tiger was painted for the successful entry into the Essex Open Exhibition at the Beecroft Gallery in Southend-on-Sea.  This is a selective exhibition and a ‘Highly Commended’ was awarded.

My mother insisted on purchasing this portrait as she fell in love with it and was adamant it would not be sold to anyone else.  It remains on display in her lounge to this day!

The image was produced on salmon coloured pastel board using a range of both hard and soft pastels.
