This portrait was first started as a demonstration piece, I then completed it to be included in the Aubrey Art Gallery’s ‘Fur, Fin and Feather’ exhibition (5th to 27th September 2014, Great Dunmow, Essex).  See the images for the flyer which include my artwork of a zebra on the front and a giraffe on the reverse.

The hare was produced on Sennelier pastel board in caput mortuum using a range of hard and soft pastels, finer details were achieved with pastel pencils.
