This portrait was produced in the summer of 2013 when I attended a workshop delivered by Hashim Akib, a fellow artist based at Hadleigh Old Fire Station.  It was challenging to use heavy body acrylics, large brushes and to paint in another artist’s style using undiluted paint in a linear fashion.
