This commission was painted in acrylic on a Pébéo 3D Linen Naturel canvas, which I have favoured for my previous giraffe portraits.  My client wanted a personal Christmas present for his partner, linking the penguin and the giraffe to their own characters.  I was also requested to incorporate the Star Trek symbol within the giraffe’s markings!
