A commissioned piece  requested by a close friend and produced in a range of hard and soft pastels, with finer details added using pastel pencils. I used a charcoal coloured Sennelier pastel board which helped to add a lighter tone of black to Brandy’s fur,  I also enhanced the colours to show the tans in her coat which had faded with age.

Brandy was a gentle and loving  soul who was always pleased to see you. She is sadly missed.
