This commissioned portrait, of a Cocker Spaniel, was produced on Sennelier pastel board in the colour sand. It was built up using hard Inscribe pastels then softer handmade pastels to establish a natural looking texture to Alba’s coat.

A muted background was added in complimentary tones to enhance her features.
